Mt. ABU Hillstation of Rajsthan is very different from other hill-stations as it is present in very different kinds of climatic conditions of Rajasthan. Mt. How to Reach Mt. ABU

To reach Mt. ABU you have to reach the ABU Road. As Delhi is the center so I let you know that from Delhi to ABU road you can travel through the Train, Bus, or from any personal vehicle. It’s a distance of 12 hours by train from Delhi to ABU Road.

From ABU Road to Mt. ABU you can travel through the bus which costs 45 INR and frequent buses are present between half an hour. You can hire a taxi or a Joint taxi is also an option which is also very cheap. Almost 70 INR per person. Now when you reach Mt. ABU you can find the buses of the Rajasthan Government which cost 100 INR for males and 75 INR for females for all worth seeing places. You will find the Map of Mt. ABU in front of its Tourist Information center.

Then we reach the polo ground established by Britishiers during the era of East India company. From this ground our next destination is Nakki Lake.

Nakki Lake

Nakki Lake is the main attraction for the Tourists in Mt. ABU. Boating is available here in the 200-300 INR range. Nakki lake is a widely spread lake and gives a beautiful view like the beaches of South India. From this lake, there is a pedestrian around the lake. And famous Champa Cave where Swami Vivekananda meditated for some weeks.

There are Stairs from Lake to Toad Rock, which is next destination.

Toad Rock at Mt. ABU

Toad Rock is a big attraction for the tourists. Its a big rock present at a great height in the shape of a Toad. From Toad rock you can have beautiful view of Mt. ABU and Nakki Lake.

From Toad rock you can see a beautiful sunset. It’s also called a sunset point due to this reason. Mt. ABU Hillstation of Rajasthan is very famous for this toad rock.

Honeymoon Point

The honeymoon point is very famous. Like toad rock, it is a structure of two rocks that looks like a couple sitting together. Many couples came here to spend a beautiful time. You are not allowed to go into the jungle without any guide as the wild animals are highly activated.

The night view of Nakki View is awesome. There is a lover point also at Mt. ABU. A famous movie “Kayamat se kayamat” was shooted here.

Temples In Mt. ABU

A lot of temples are present here. Universal Peace Hall of Brahamkumari,s present here. There is a museum that tells the relation of our soul with GOD spiritually.

Dilwara Temple

Dilwara temple is the best in its creativity and it is comparable to the Taj Mahal as it is also Built with the same marble stone. This Temple is a group of Five temples and belongs to the Jain dharma. It takes 14 years to make this temple at that time and around 1200 persons worked for it.

 

Best Time to Visit Mt. ABU.

The Winter season is the best to visit Mt. ABU. The temperature of winters in Mt. Abu Hillstation of Rajasthan is 7-12 degrees. Summer is also a good time as it has an average temperature of 17-25 degrees. Monsoon season is the less rushy season and you can find rooms and all facilities at this season.OYO facility is present here and there is no issue regarding accommodation. So visit and enjoy Mt.
