Leh ladakh is a dream destination almost for everyone. It is a woth-seeing as well as nature lap trip.

There are two ways to reach Leh. One is through Manali and the Second is by the route of Srinagar. If you want to experience the full adventure, the Manali route is best undoubtedly. Manali is a beautiful town as well as a hill station of Himachal Pradesh.

June to October is the best time to visit Leh Ladakh as during winters these roads get closed officially due to snow and high risk.

Best Bike For The Ride

As this is a tough ride then choosing the right vehicle is the priority. Mostly Royal Enfield bullets, Avenger, Himalayan, etc are available on rent at Manali from where you can hire them.

Rent for Avenger is 800-900 INR per day and 1000-1200 INR for bullets. 1500 INR for Himalayan.500cc Bike is perfect for this journey if you have a pillion rider with you. You are advised to carry some waterproof bags, a waterproof jacket, a power bank, and a tent along with you. Remember you must carry cash as ATMs are not available when you start the journey.

Very important that you have to take the permit from Manali to see the Pangong lake Nubra valley which you can take from Manali SDM.

After Jespa you reach Serchu. Up to here, you are traveling in Himachal after this you are in UT Ladakh. In this region only BSNL and Airtel Postpaid services are good. On day 3 you reach Leh-Ladakh Valley. Where you need permissions for visit.

Places In Leh City

There are many monastries where you can visit in leh valley on same day. Although you can cover Maganetic Hill on same day

After the Ladakh valley, we move forward to Khardungla-Pass (The highest pass in the world).

After crossing this Pass we reach Nubra Valley where we can find two hump Camel and white sand.

Then at last we reach our final destination of the trip which is Pangong Lake. Deep blue water which we all have seen in the movie ‘Three Idiots‘.Water is crystal clear and blue. You can spend your time here in tents and take a lot of pictures. Drone cameras are allowed only after permission.
